Ongoing Application Support and Development for PiXL
The Challenge
PiXL, a leading educational organisation, sought to modernise its operations while ensuring the functionality of its legacy systems remained intact. As the organisation evolves and becomes more dynamic, they required a reliable partner to maintain the smooth operation of their database and customer resource hub. Additionally, with a longstanding wariness toward technology, PiXL needed a solution that was approachable and easy to use. Our role needed to support this transition, offering clear communication and practical solutions to empower PiXL to move forward with confidence, while effectively managing their existing systems.
The Solution
Our role was to provide frontline internal support and to advise on processes to shape the long-term vision for PiXL’s digital ecosystem. We adopted a user-centric approach, applying our expertise in UX methodologies to progress their ecosystem alongside maintaining the core functionalities of PiXL’s applications.
We handle ongoing server support, front-end development, and implemented continuous upgrades to the system’s architecture and interface. By working closely with PiXL, we ensured seamless operations across backend infrastructure and day-to-day processes.
Our consulting efforts extended beyond maintenance, driving the evolution of their applications and contributing to future brand and system planning. This included expanding into paid social media, developing ad creatives, and building landing pages for PPC campaigns. We also empowered PiXL to manage their own resources more effectively by creating user-friendly platforms for managing video content and onboarding new members.
To support data-driven decision-making, we introduced insights and analytics, which helped uncover the organisation’s “unknown unknowns” and enabled PiXL to tackle challenges with greater clarity and confidence.
