Website Design for Highly Regarded Funeral Directors
The Challenge
Alan Greenwood are the leading, family-run, and highly regarded funeral directors, based in Woking, Surrey.
They wanted to improve their web presence, so they approached MRS for a website re-design and build that could provide a positive information gateway for their audience, in turn enabling Alan Greenwood to assist with their funeral needs.

The Solution
Our design and development teams worked hand-in-hand with the Alan Greenwood stakeholders to provide best-in-class advice, creativity, and technical expertise. We explored their business needs to define a solid approach to their website, along with the need for editability and simplicity that MRS websites provide.
The Alan Greenwood website provides a stable, engaging web platform for their ongoing marketing activities with MRS’ marketing teams, specifically, strategic content optimisation, and PPC campaign management.
Custom Functionality and Integrations:
- We incorporated a ‘Find Your Local Funeral Director’ tool using postcode information to make it easy for the user to contact their local office
- Finding funeral cost information on the internet can be confusing. A Funeral Cost Calculator was developed to help the user understand how much their funeral could cost and feel more inclined to enquire
- We developed obituaries and donation integrations, so the Alan Greenwood team could administer them easily

The Result
Once the user lands on the site from one of our targeted campaigns, they are presented with easy-digestible, relevant content.
Since launch, the site has grown their customer enquiries, with positive customer (user) feedback on the ease of use and access to valuable, supportive information.
