The Challenge
Artington Legal approached us with a clear goal to grow. Recognising they had outgrown their previous brand and online presence, they needed to reposition themselves against their global competitors.
To reflect their ethos and high-calibre team a new website was needed to invigorate their engagement rates and deliver against their professional reputation.
Seeking greater flexibility, independence and reliability we endeavoured to build the next chapter of their business.
The Solution
Artington Legal were limiting themselves with their brand and website to focus on just those in the town near them. We recognised that this was the case so set about a three stage project to help show the world who Artington Legal actually were.
When Artington Legal came to us, they wanted to tell a story with their brand. For them, it was important to show that they weren’t city lawyers with no human focus, instead they wanted to show how they were a friendly, relatable brand that worked with businesses to provide them with experienced legal advice.
We created a brand, web development and web design strategy to tell this story online.
Brand
Our strategic approach led our analysis to identify business and branding opportunities in positioning, with improvements focused on accessibility within their niche B2B law sector—aligning their tone of voice and visual language with this in mind. For legibility the typography was enhanced for ease of reading and a higher colour contrast was introduced.
The brand palette was re-engineered from the ground up using colour psychology to enrich their trust credentials whilst maintaining their rich mid-century tones but presented in a modern style, staying true to their origins. Whilst being mindful of accessibility and web fundamentals, we gave the brand authenticity and approachability with an established, modern-classic twist.
Web Development
Utilising the latest in WordPress CMS (Content Management System) technology and WordPress’s new full site editing capabilities, Artington Legal can now make rapid changes with needing constant development support.
Our long-term, future-focused development strategy gave Artington Legal and their website a stable foundation, built without an excessive dependence on third-party plugins or themes. This close-to-the-core principle focuses on Google’s Core Web Vitals criteria and is a key focus for speed and great user experience. Our bespoke theme follows the WordPress guidelines to leverage the latest Gutenberg page builder capabilities, providing freedom to make changes with ease and consistency.
Web Design
Alongside the brand, we delivered a visually engaging and user-centric web site, designed to attract high-quality enquiries within their target audience, localising their website for both national and international clients. With high-performance SEO capabilities and crafted messaging, both the design and content structure were optimised to convert.
Our conversion-led (CRO) design approach utilised a realigned site architecture, effortless mega menu, key trust elements (such as client testimonials & logos), authentic photography and impactful calls-to-actions.
The Results
The website launch was seamless, thanks to a precise and efficient deployment. With a stronger brand strategy, they now have an online presence that resonates with their new audience enabling marketing activities to run effectively.
