Every September, thousands of workplaces across the UK swap their usual routine for a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. It’s an annual tradition here at MRS Digital and this year we added some competition.
On 25/09/2026, the MRS Digital team came together for our Macmillan Coffee Morning and Great MRS Digital Bake Off, all in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Cancer affects almost all of us in some way, whether that’s our own diagnosis or that of a family member, friend or colleague and Macmillan is there for anyone facing it. From specialist nurses and financial guidance to an around-the-clock support line and online community, they help people manage everything cancer brings.
What made the day special wasn’t just the cakes (though there were some serious contenders). It was the whole company getting stuck in – baking, judging, buying, tasting, donating and making time to catch up, laugh and support a great cause together.
Caffeine, sweet treats and team spirit kept the office running at full speed all day. Thanks to some serious baking talent (and even more serious appetites), we raised an incredible £833 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Here’s to doing good, having fun, and proving that a little friendly competition (and a lot of cake) can go a long way.
